Thoughts on a Thursday: Are Men with Cats Less Dateable than Men with Dogs?

A new study claims that men with cats are considered less dateable than men with dogs. Over 1,300 women (between 18-24) were shown pictures of the exact same guy…in some of the pictures the guy was holding a cat and and in the other version of the picture, he was not.

The women were asked to rate the man on various attributes, like personality, masculinity and date-ability. The survey results reportedly found that women found the man holding the cat to be less masculine and less date-able. The cat holder, however, also appeared to be more open, agreeable and confident to the survey participants. [Source]
