Woman Gets Remotely Tattooed From Robotic Arm In ‘World First’

If you thought remote work was painful, wait until you hear about remote tattooing.

A woman in the Netherlands just got inked by an artist sitting 300 miles away in the UK. It was organized by T-Mobile and London-based technologist Noel Drew to show off the power of 5G and the latest in robotics.

Even though the tattoo was a success, Drew did stress that robotic tattooing will probably not become the norm anytime soon… or possibly ever.
