Walmart+ Launching September 15th and Will Rival Amazon Prime

Look out, Amazon! Walmart is about to launch Walmart+ which will directly compete with Amazon Prime. It will also be cheaper and offer same-day delivery on over 150,000 items, comes with fuel discounts at select stations and a cashier-less shopping experience which means you won’t have to stand in line while shopping in-store.

We are so excited to announce the launch of our membership program, Walmart+! It gives customers access to services like unlimited free home deliveries from our stores, Scan & Go for fast checkout, and a 5-cent per gallon discount on fuel. Janey Whiteside is our Chief Customer Officer, and her team worked hard to get Walmart+ off the ground.
