About an hour and 15 minutes outside of Columbia, there’s a little town called Ninety Six, SC. It’s located in Greenwood County and boasts a population of about 2,000 people.

This year, they figured they’d try out something a little different to get in the Halloween spirit. A group of residents who go by the Decorating Divas asked residents of the community to chip in and help decorate the town with scarecrows.

They figured they’d get a few, but to date, there are dozens – around 60 to be exact – within one tenth of a mile.

All scarecrows have been donated anonymously or by local businesses – paying homage to the heart and soul of this town. [Source]

The goal is to make it an annual tradition that people will come to see from all over. And if you’re interested in checking them out you’ve got until November 1st to make the drive to Ninety Six.
