Time Magazine Names Olivia Rodrigo ‘Entertainer Of The Year’

Time Magazine has named Olivia Rodrigo Entertainer Of The Year for 2021.

Time journalist, Lucy Feldman wrote, “Her rise to pop stardom was swift and definitive.” Rodrigo is not only known for her hits, “Driver’s License” and “Good 4 U” but also her roles in Disney’s “Bizaardvark” and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series on Disney+ which she vows to return to during its third season.

Oliva credits Avril Lavigne, Lorde, and Paramore as her personal inspirations and says she hopes that people will see her for who she is as an individual and not the ‘new this’ or as ‘this woman meets that woman,’ saying “that can be reductive.”
