Steak-Umm Goes To War With Neil Degrasse Tyson
There is currently a Twitter war brewing between a thin-sliced frozen steak brand and the one of our most famous living astrophysicists.
For some reason, Steak-umm has decided to use their social media account to fire a shot at Neil deGrasse Tyson after he tweeted “The good thing about Science is that it’s true, whether or not you believe in it.” Steak-umm fired back “Log off, bro” before launching into a longer follow-up refuting Tyson’s definition of truth in science. Here’s the real “truth” according to the frozen meat product:
“The irony of Neil’s tweet is that by framing science itself as “true” he’s influencing people to be more skeptical of it in a time of unprecedented misinformation. Science is an ever-refining process to find truth, not a dogma. no matter his intent, this message isn’t helpful.”
The tweet had “Steak-umms” trending on the platform but as of yet, Tyson has not fired back.
