SpaceX Launches 4 Astronauts On Reused Capsule, Rocket To International Space Station

Four astronauts are on their way to the International Space Station for a six-month stay.

The crew blasted off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida early Friday morning as part of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-2 mission. Friday’s launch marked the third time that Elon Musk’s private space firm has flown astronauts.

The mission also reused the same Falcon 9 rocket that sent four astronauts to the ISS last November and the same spacecraft that sent and returned two astronauts last May. Did you see the launch over the Midlands this morning?

DID YOU SEE IT? This is what it looked like over Chapin this morning for the SpaceX launch that took a crew to the International Space Station.
