Ralph Macchio Says a Jackie Chan Cameo Wouldn’t Work in ‘Cobra Kai’

It’s about that time! Season 4 of Cobra Kai is getting ready to drop.

In the original series, Pat Morita who mentored Daniel (Ralph Macchio) played Mr. Miyagi. In the movie, “Next Karate Kid”, Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith play the roles of Morita and Macchio. Ralph Macchio said an interview that Cobra Kai is done in a Miyagi-verse. While Jaden Smith’s version is not. So the idea of Jackie Chan making an appearance in Cobra Kai would not work. But he did say Hilary Swank could work in Cobra Kai adding, there’s always a chance for maybe that.
