Nike Launches “Mamba Week” with Short Film “Better”
Sunday would have been Kobe Bryant’s 42nd birthday and to commemorate his life, Nike launched “Mamba Week” with a short film narrated by Kendrick Lamar.
According to Nike’s press release, “Mamba Week” will honor Bryant through “three key efforts,” the first being a $1 million donation to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation in honor of Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna. [Source]
In addition, Nike is set to release a number of Kobe’s products — including his coveted signature sneakers and jerseys — for the first time since he passed away.
