New App Will Help You Find A Travel Buddy

If you’re a solo traveler who wants to cut costs on your next vacation (ie: sharing a taxi or an Airbnb) then a new app called GAFFL – Get a Friend for Life – will pair you with other vacationers heading your way or to your destination. I guess this could be especially helpful if you want to take a cruise but need a double occupancy person to keep the price down?

With safety in mind, GAFFL makes users from 156 countries pass a multi-step verification process.

To be honest, I still don’t think I’d be comfortable sharing a room, hotel or Airbnb with someone I don’t know. But I do like the idea of having a contact you can check-in with if you have an emergency.

That being said, I love traveling by myself so I think I’ll stick with flying solo.
