Mount Pleasant Chick-Fil-A Manager Steps In To Direct Drive-Thru Vaccine Clinic
A Chick-Fil-A manager stepped in to help a drive-thru vaccine clinic run as smoothly as his restaurant during lunch hour.
The Mount Pleasant, South Carolina clinic was dealing with a computer glitch that left customers waiting in line for more than an hour. So the town mayor called Jerry Walkowiak, who managed the Chick-fil-A across the street.
Walkowiak stepped right in to organize the traffic jam, make sure customers had the right paperwork, and get the line moving again. He even stood in the rain with an umbrella to do it.
Mayor Will Haynie tweeted “When you need help, call the pros”.
