After weeks of teasing, the much hyped Elton John/Britney Spears collaboration “Hold Me Closer” is finally here. The track blends Elton’s classic “Tiny Dancer” with his 1992 track “The One,” backed by a dance beat.”It’s pretty damn cool that I’m singing with one of the most classic men of our time … @eltonofficial🚀!!!! ” Brit shared ahead of the release. I’m kinda overwhelmed… it’s a big deal to me !!! I’m meditating more 🧘🏼‍♀️ and learning my space is valuable and precious !!!”

Meanwhile, a day before the song dropped Britney decided to once again de-activate her Instagram account, but gave us a little insight into why on her Twitter page. “I’m learning everyday is a clean slate to try and be a better person and do what makes me happy … yes I choose happiness today,” she tweeted. “I tell myself every day to let go of the hurt bitterness and try to forgive myself and others to what may have been hurtful.”

She added that her goal is “to be fearless like when [she] was younger and not be so scared” adding,  “I pray there actually is truth to the Holy Spirit and I hope that spirit is with my children as well !!!” referring to sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. “Yes … I choose happiness and joy today ☀️ !!!”
