Coast Guard Rescues Group Stuck On Pink Flamingo Raft
Here’s something you don’t see every day.
The U.S. Coast in Alaska rescued three people and two dogs who got stranded on a giant, inflatable pink flamingo. The rescue happened in Monashka Bay near Kodiak after strong winds swept the flamingo floatie onto offshore rocks. USCG officials actually had to use a helicopter to hoist the trio and two pups to safety because of the treacherous conditions.
The stranded group was celebrating a 30th birthday. Everyone made it back safely, including the runaway floating flamingo.
Have you ever had a mishap or crazy adventure on a birthday that you still can’t believe happened?
