City of Columbia New Year’s Free Parking Info

If you’re heading downtown to celebrate the New Year next week, here is all the info about free parking!

NEW YEAR’S HOLIDAY

ON-STREET METER OPERATIONS

• Complimentary/NO ENFORCEMENT CITY WIDE:   Wednesday, January 1^st

 CITY PARKING DECK OPERATIONS

• Complimentary/GATES WILL BE RAISED AT ALL “GATED” CITY PARKING FACILITIES: 5PM Tuesday, December 31^st-3AM Thursday (late Wednesday night), January 2^nd

Also, besides 4th of July, New Year’s Eve is a night a lot of animals go missing once fireworks start going off. Make sure your pets are safe and secure before heading out for the night!
