Britney Spears has been granted the power to sign her own estate documents now that her 13-year conservatorship has ended.

Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart appeared before Judge Brenda Penny at the Los Angeles Superior Courthouse on Wednesday and argued that Britney should be able to sign her own estate documents.  Judge Penny agreed but kept accountant John Zabel on as an administrator to Britney’s estate until the next hearing on January 19th.

Britney’s father appeared remotely but the lawyer appeared in person and argued that Jamie Spears should be able to view the estate plan, however, but Zabel’s attorney objected, arguing, “In a normal situation, a normal person would never have to show their estate plan.”
