Airlines Banning Alcohol on Flights Due to Coronavirus
Airlines including Easyjet and KLM in Europe, Delta Air Lines and American Airlines in the United States, and Asia’s Virgin Australia, are suspending all or part of their alcoholic drinks service in response to Covid-19. [Source]
American Airlines says the move is being made in an attempt to limit contact between passengers and crew members…with the exception of international flights.
Delta Air Lines says that alcohol is banned on all of its domestic and international flights to Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and Central America, regardless of seating class.
There’s no word yet as to when regular in-flight services will resume, if ever.
