A Group Of Floating Tubers Go Over The Side Of A North Carolina Dam, Leaving Three Dead

Sad news coming out of our neighbors to the North.

Floaters were discovered by a Duke Energy employee as he saw some of them clinging to a single tube. It was a big group of tubers on the Dan River in N.C. Three people were confirmed dead and the search for two other tubers is still on-going.

“We’re going to stay positive that we can do a rescue rather than a recovery,” Rockingham County Emergency Services Director Rodney Cates said.
