13-Foot Shark Pinged off South Carolina Coast

Don’t go in the water! Actually, shark attacks are pretty rare…but still. This morning, a nearly 13-foot shark pinged off the coast of South Carolina this morning (05/27). That’s according to OCEARCH’s shark tracking map.

The White Shark that pinged off the coast at 6:29 a.m. is named Carolina. Her age is listed as “sub-adult” and she is 12 feet, 9 inches in length and weighs about 1,348 pounds.
