$1.9 Trillion Relief Bill On It’s Way To The Oval Office

The House of Representatives has approved President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill.

The American Rescue Plan Act was passed Wednesday afternoon in a 220-211 vote, officials say. Only one Democrat — Representative Jarden Golden — reportedly voted against the legislation. The bill will now be sent to the Oval Office, where Biden is expected to sign off on it.

The legislation, which was narrowly passed by the Senate over the weekend, includes $1,400 stimulus payments for about 90 percent of all Americans, money for vaccine distribution and additional funds for unemployment, small businesses, states, schools and more.
